Roon 1.6 has landed!

Roon Version 1.6 kicks off 2019 in style, bringing a more elegant design to its interface, and making it easier to use.

Now Playing screen

Your Now Playing screen has got a cleaner, simplified design that takes full advantage of Roon's deep library of metadata. Choose between Real-Time Lyrics, credits, review, bio and high-res photos of the artist for an experience that's as much a treat for your eyes as your music is for your ears.

Roon Radio

Roon Radio has gone even more high-tech, and enlisted machine-learning algorithms to give you a customised listening experience. Select an Artist, Album, track or genre in Roon (whether its in your library or coming through a streaming service), and Roon Radio will build you a personalised station that gets to know your taste the more you listen. Thumbs up!

Search in Roon

A re-vamped Search function will show you the most relevant results, and, critically, let you toggle between results from your own library and results from streaming services like Tidal and Qobuz.

Yes, Qobuz is now integrated into Roon, allowing you to include their lossless library in your collection; at least, it would if Qobuz were available in Australia. As of now, there's no announced plans to make Qobuz available down here.

DSP presets

Finally, Roon's powerful DSP engine, which allows you to customise your sound to suit your gear, your listening environment and more, has been simplified to make it easier to use. Select from presets on all devices, including phone and tablet apps, and tweak your sound to perfection.
