WINNERS! Roon and Panasonic UB9000 clean up at the Sound+Image Awards 2019

The newly-announced winners of Sound+Image's 2019 awards feature some familiar names! The imminently-arriving Panasonic DP-UB9000 took home the coveted "UHD Blu-ray Player of the Year" title, with the judges calling it the "4K player to beat"; "Panasonic has loaded all its years of expertise into this new reference in disc-spinning".

Meanwhile, Roon received the "Multiroom System of the Year" award, a special award created specially to recognise Roon's unique impact on the hi-fi world. To quote the judge's opinion, "Roon has become a peacemaker between hardware platforms. There is no better way to control your music, to ensure the best possible quality of delivery to multiple devices, or to enjoy the sheer wonder of musical discovery."
